The process

From idea to shipped, step by step

No surprises at any point — you know exactly where your project is and what happens next.

1

Tell us what you need free

A call or a written brief, both free. Plain language is fine, no spec required.

2

Fixed proposal

We ask questions until the scope is clear, then quote a fixed price inside your budget. Nothing starts until you approve.

3

We build it 30% advance

A 30% advance starts the work. One point of contact, and you follow progress from your dashboard.

4

Delivery and ongoing care

Code, accounts, and design files handed over in your name. We can stay on to maintain it.

Why upkept/dev

Built for people who don't want to manage developers

Hiring is a full-time job. Working with us isn't.

A budget you control

You pick the budget range; the quote stays inside it, and you'll never be billed beyond what you approved.

One point of contact

You talk to us, we handle the build. No juggling freelancers, time zones, or half-answered messages.

You own everything

The code, the accounts, the design files — all handed over in your name. Leaving us is easy, which is why clients don't.

Honest scoping

If something isn't worth building — or can be done cheaper — we'll say so before you spend a cent.

Questions

Things clients usually ask

How much does it cost?

A new website is a flat $500, one time, at a price agreed before any work starts. Keeping it secure, updated, and running is $75/month, and you can cancel anytime. Already have a site? We'll take it over and maintain it for $75/month. Scoping and quotes are always free.

I'm not technical — is that a problem?

Not at all, most of our clients aren't. Describe what you want in plain language; translating that into technical scope is exactly the part we do for you.

How fast will I hear back?

A real person reviews every brief, typically within 48 hours. From there the conversation continues in your project inbox, and every reply is also sent to your email.

Who owns the code and accounts?

You do — fully. Code, hosting, domains, and design files are set up in your name and handed over at delivery. There's no lock-in.

Can you take over a site or app someone else built?

Yes. Tell us what exists today — audits, fixes, and gradual improvement of inherited projects are a big part of what we do, and our flat monthly maintenance is built to take over sites we didn't originally build.

What does ongoing work look like?

Maintenance is a flat $75/month: updates, security patches, backups, uptime monitoring, and small changes when you need them. No tiers and no hourly rates, and you can cancel anytime.
